Limited Edition, Giclee’ (Gee-clay) Fine Art Prints, the finest technological advancement available, has gone beyond the boundaries of traditional reproduction capabilities. The look and feel of an original in every detail has arrived!

Starting with a professional photo lab transparency of the original artwork, a high resolution scanner creates a digital file of the copyrighted image.

Master printmakers and I work together to produce color proofs that meet with my high standards before the image is approved for printing. The image is archived for future print releases according to the size of the edition that I, Dory Grade, the artist, specify.

Each Giclee’ image is printed on an Iris printer delivering a fine spray of ink – up to a million micro-droplets per second. Each droplet is four times smaller than a human hair. The droplets are sprayed by four precision nozzles onto a hand-mounted sheet of 100% rag Archival paper or canvas. Sometimes I may choose to personally hand embellish each print before hand signing and numbering. The finished Giclee’ print is protected by applying an extra-strength UV coating.
