I respond to the wonders of Yosemite and Big Sur on a very personal level. Perhaps my gift to myself is living in the moment, being a humble student of nature seeking truth and beauty. The icons familiar to many, become symbols of strength, surrounded by fragile ecology. Perhaps I'm influenced by Albert Schweitzer, "Reverence For Life"; or more recently by Dr. Wayne Dyer, "When we change the way we look at things...the things we look at change."

Working on my art in Yosemite or Big Sur, I'm forever finding the need to capture the precious moments in time.
